About

"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 12:31

God is a God of purpose. Because of His great love and mercy for sinners, He purposed to send His Son Jesus Christ in the flesh to die for us.

Those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved, eternally they are secure in Him.

Christ did not save us merely to spend eternity with Him in heaven, but with the purpose that we should walk in the good works He's prepared for us beforehand.

Because of Christ, I have purpose in all things...

Marriage. Christian marriage is supposed to be a beautiful depiction of Christ's relationship to His church, with the husband graciously loving and leading, and the wife graciously submitting and respecting.

Motherhood. God has called Christian parents to raise their children in the fear and admonition of Him. My daughter is just a baby, but it starts now.

Homemaking. My home is a good gift that God has given me stewardship of. By keeping it tidy, comfortable, and well-ordered, I am blessing those who live in it and any visitors who may walk through my door.

Personal Discipline. "train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come" (1 Timothy 4:7b). I am seeking to "discipline myself for godliness" in reading, memorizing, and studying the Word, prayer, time management, and speech (along with many other areas!). Please join me as I learn and develop in these things.

Reading. I love books, really and truly. All art, including the written word, is trying to say something. I want to fill my mind with good things, to think, to wrestle ideas, to learn and grow.

Pain and Trials. Oftentimes life is hard, whether your experiencing a miscarriage, premature birth, or whatever else the Lord has ordained for you. There is good news- it all comes from the hand of a loving, sovereign God who is tenderly working out His purposes in the lives of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
